One more week, in Legends we cross the borders again. This time it was to interview Gary Scott, director of instruction at the AFA Football Academy.

Academy of Football Australia (AFA), located on the Gold Coast, Australia. Established in 2015 Academy of Football Australia has become one of the most successful football academies in South East Queensland. Academy of Football Australia (AFA) creates a platform so that the individual has the best environment possible to achieve their football goals.
It should be noted that the Australian Football Academy (AFA) is a non-profit organization. All the money is reinvested in the development of its young promises. In addition, AFA creates a platform for the individual to have the best possible environment to achieve their football goals.
How would you define your academy football style?
The Academy of Football Australia plays in possession attacks with pace with the emphasis on changing the point of attack. Out of possession, defend one way and press.
What does football mean to you?
Football at AFA is a way of life, it takes commitment and belief. We have high expectations of players both on and off the field.
What objective would you like to achieve?
Our aim is to produce technically gifted players, which will have the ability to influence a game.
How do you see the junior teams football?
We see the Junior teams endeavouring to play honest attractive Football.
How do you feel when you see an evolution in the players you train?
We feel pride and a sense of achievement.
What are the most tournaments? Important that you have played?
Gold Coast Champions Cup, Milk Cup, Youdan Trophy, Weifang Cup, Nottingham Cup.
